Just when I was done complaining about how hectic it gets when you work six days a week, we spent a lovely evening at this beautiful place. Lovely garden and great company, couldn't be better than this to wind up that long week.

There were a lot of sketches done this week. One of which was these two friends hanging out. I wish there was more time to play around with some colour on this one.

Poppies

I think it is going to take a while until I switch over to sketching mode once again. Random drawing done over the weekend. Poppy flower look alike. Among all its symbolism, I like it being associated with dreams.

Workshop Postponed

Little Manu Art workshop had to be postponed until further notice. We remain optimistic and will keep you guys informed on all fun things to come.

A short story from Goa

Here's a sketch of few objects which used be in my grandmother's old house. Well, this isn't the exact arrangement they used to have but many of these objects would be seen around the house. Yes, gradmother who we fondly call Bai, used to have a trunk with her favourite nauvari sarees and a piggy bank back then. I doubt the trunk stayed intact but I think the piggy bank still stays safe with her.

100 days of 2017

Sometimes it helps to step away from the chaos. There is no better filter than reaching out to your friends on social media sites individually. And when that happens ,in a short span you realize how fast life has moved forward.Thank you for your support and appreciation. Next few years are going to be busy, busy with a lot more new sketches , stories, paintings and much more. If you have a potential sketch story in mind, please do share it. I would love to give it a try.
